Masala Dosa

High Protein Masala Idli

Steamed masala idlis loaded with protein and mild spices for a healthy, flavorful breakfast. Light, wholesome, and delicious, they are perfect for a nutritious start to your day.

Ingredients:

  • 40 gm Prequick Dosa premix
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • Water (As needed)
  • 30 gm grated paneer
  • 50 gm boiled potato (mashed)
  • 1/2 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
  • Few curry leaves
  • 2 green chilles (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt (As needed)

How To Prepare?

  • In a bowl, mix 40 gm Prequick Dosa premix and 2 tsp curd. Add water gradually to make a smooth, thick batter and rest for 10–15 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add 1 tsp jeera, curry leaves, and green chillies saute briefly.
  • Add onion, sauté until soft. Mix in mashed potato, 30 gm grated paneer, and salt. Cook for 2–3 minutes until dry.
  • Grease idli moulds, pour batter halfway then add a spoonful of potato - paneer masala filling in the center and add a little more batter on top to cover.
  • Steam for 10–12 minutes on medium flame and rest for a minute before unmoulding.
  • Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
